“ Oh my, the Galbi on rice! This was my first time visiting "On the Rice," and I was absolutely blown away—not just by the incredible food, but by the genuinely warm service. I wish I got his name but the gentleman running the cash and orders was very hospitable and kind. The star of the show is, without a doubt, the Galbi. The beef ribs are beyond tender, and the accompanying garlic sauce is utterly addictive. Every element on the plate works in harmony: the rice was perfectly cooked, and the addition of the charred onion and broccoli provides a depth of complex flavor that is truly hard to achieve. I was surprised I got a miso soup to start with. Very warming and comforting. They definitely know how to cook here. I felt like family the moment I walked in! This is a must-visit. I'm already planning my return to try literally everything else on the menu and bringin a few friends with me :) ”

They were even willing to substitute and accommodate for a shrimp allergy for us. Always super fresh and delicious, can’t recommend enough! ”

“ There are 4 tables inside. You order at the counter, pay (cash 5%off), and go sit and wait. We waited for quite a while but got our food, with a fork and spoon. There is a lot of food! Omg there is so much. The "on the rice" bowls have a lot of cabbage, onion and bean sprouts and a good amount of meat. I couldn't finish for sure but the boys did. ”
